Pet Sitting

I enjoy and value all animals. They teach me non-verbal communication skills, to pay attention and to notice things I might otherwise miss. I like the quiet companionship, exchange of tenderness and playful energy. I prefer to be outside, so walks and yard chores are a pleasure for me.

  • Regular walks for dogs. morning and night
  • Lots of play time for pets of all types
  • Feeding on their regular schedule, and plenty of fresh water
  • Poop scooping and litter box cleaning
  • Cleaning of reptile and bird cages
  • Administering any necessary medications and injections
  • Grooming/bathing, in house or at a groomer
  • Brushing, removing burrs and seed pods from fur
  • Cleaning muddy paws
  • Vacuuming/sweeping up pet hair
  • Transportation to dog parks, vets, groomer
  • Other household chores as needed (see below)

House Sitting

  • Mail, newspaper and package management
  • Taking out trash and recycling
  • Watering plants indoors and outdoors on a regular schedule
  • Weeding, raking and other light yard work
  • Ensuring a human presence in the house to deter break-ins
  • Keeping the home neat and clean

Child Care

They are your children, the most important little people in your life. First and foremost, my goal is to keep them safe and sound. My other goals are to develop a sense of trust and respect, to help in their education, and to ensure that every time we get together, we do something fun!

Children have taught me an enormous amount over the years.

  • Daytime Child Care
    • All daily routines including feeding, changing diapers, naps and potty training
    • A wide variety of fun and educational activities to keep them engaged mentally and active physically
    • Special services including cooking health-conscious, diet-specific meals and snacks
